Salon Policies

I’m delighted to have you here! To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, it is essential to be aware of the salon policies. Please take a moment to read through the following policies and feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you and I look forward to working with you.

Inclusive & Safe Environment 

I strive to provide a diverse and safe atmosphere for everyone. 
Right to Refuse: 
Given any circumstance, I do hold the right to refuse service at any point before, during, and after. 

Cancellations & Deposits

In commitment to honoring both the clients' and stylists' time, Refinery 208 Salon has put in place a thoughtful cancellation policy. 

   A 48-hour notice is requested if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we aim to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability while being mindful of our stylists' schedules.

   If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment after the 48-hour requirement, a charge of up to 100% of the service total may be applied. 

   In the spirit of fairness, if you do not communicate within 15 minutes past your appointment time, it is then marked as a “No Show” appointment. In the event of a “No Show”, up to 100% of the service total will be charged to your card on file.

   I understand that unexpected delays come up. If you are running late to your appointment, please communicate before or no later than 10 minutes after your appointment time. Within this time frame, I would love to still work with you. As well, due to time restraints and to ensure we do not disrupt any other appointments for the day, we will have to shorten some steps of your service. 


   For new clients, a nonrefundable deposit of up to 50% of the service total is required when booking. This ensures your reservation and the undivided attention you deserve. The deposit goes towards your service total and is a testament to my dedication to your exceptional experience. 

   I cherish your time as much as my own. These policies helps ensure the best quality experience for all valued clients.

 

Fixes & Redos

I am human and I cannot always create perfection. I am open to fixing any mistakes and I’d love for you to trust me with so. Any complimentary fixes are within my discretion and I do request that you reach out within five days after your service date.

Make the Most of Your Appointment 

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, I’ve put together some friendly guidelines for your appointment.  
  1. Arrival. It is best to arrive on time or up to 10 minutes early for your appointment. If you are running late, please communicate that so I can accommodate. There is convenient parking available in the back alleyway and ample street parking. 
  2. Hair Prep. Please ensure your hair is clean and dry (ideally washed within the last one to five days). This helps maximize our time together. 
  3. Dress the Part. It’s always safe to wear a tee shirt that you don’t mind getting a little wet, colored, or with a few stray hairs. While I take great care, accidents can happen. This ensures we’re both worry free. Avoid wearing bulky tops that can interfere with achieving a clean haircut line. To prevent any tangles or snags during the service, it’s best to remove glasses, large or dangling earrings, and necklaces.
